Resumo
O texto que aqui se oferece sublinha a trajetória e o processo de construção do Museu do Samba a partir das experiências do Centro Cultural Cartola e, por esta vereda, descreve a articulação com o patrimônio cultural,
apresenta as linhas gerais do dossiê responsável pela patrimonialização do samba carioca e, por fim, abre uma conversa com iniciativas que se identificam com a denominada museologia social. O diálogo com
a imaginação museal de Nilcemar Nogueira, neta de Dona Zica e Cartola, líder comunitária, atravessa todo texto e coloca em evidência o protagonismo que essa guardiã de memórias exerce no universo do samba contemporâneo.

Abstract
The text presents important point about the trajectory and the process of construction of the Museu do Samba based on the experiences of Centro Cultural Cartola and, in this way, describes the articulation with
the cultural heritage, presents the general lines of the dossier responsible for the patrimonialization of the Samba and finally opens a conversation with initiatives whose identify social museology. The dialogue between
the museum imagination of Nilcemar Nogueira, granddaughter of Dona Zica and Cartola, community leader, crosses all text and highlights the protagonism that this guardian of memories exercises in the universe of contemporary samba.
