RESUMO
A partir das estruturas do cotidiano: família, trabalho e lazer, analisei os efeitos culturais e sociais obtidos com a costura coletiva, inserida em um projeto sociocultural para confecção artesanal de colchas de cama com retalhos. Este estudo visa discutir e entender as relações simbólicas e representativas presentes nessas estruturas, capazes de intervir nos modos de vida e nas possibilidades de modificação dessas realidades. O objeto investigativo são as realidades vividas por mulheres comuns e homens em situação de acolhimento.

ABSTRACT
From the structures of everyday life: family, work and leisure, I ana- lyzed the cultural and social effects obtained with collective sewing, inserted in a socio-cultural project for patchwork quilts handmade making. This study aims to discuss and understand the symbolic and representa- tive relations present in these structures, capable of intervening in the ways of life and in the possibilities of modifying these realities. The inves- tigative object is the realities experienced by ordinary women and men in a welcoming situation.
