Brazil Turkey Cultural Center

The CCBT has been supporting SESC São Paulo’s joint initiatives with Turkey since 2012. In addition to liaising with Turkish organizations doing similar work to that carried out by SESC, it has also mediated programs featuring Turkish art during festivals held by SESC, such as Istambul Agora (Istanbul Now) in 2012 and 2013. More recently, it has been promoting Turkey with a view to fostering cultural exchange between the two countries. SESC sits in the CCBT’s Advisory Board and in 2015 was awarded the Cultural Merit Award.
