British Council

SESC São Paulo and the official UK organization that fosters Culture and Education have held joint film festivals and exhibitions, as well as staged dance performances and theatre plays produced by UK companies. Over the last few years, many of the partnership projects undertaken were made possible by Transform, a culture and art cooperation program established between Brazil and the UK as part of the Olympic legacy that lasted from 2012 to 2016. Some of the partnerships with the British Council include the Shakespeare +400 project (SESC Santo André, 2016), the Lina Bo Bardi Fellowship Program (2012 - 2016), the Lina Bo Bardi Together exhibition (SESC Pompeia, 2016), the participation of the Apaches Trio in the 2016 SESC Chamber Music Festival, and the 3rd edition of the MultiOrchestra International Conference, partially hosted by SESC Bom Retiro (2016).
