Consulate General of the United States in São Paulo

Projects Basketball Stars, Soccer Stars and Baseball Stars have all been implemented through a partnership between SESC and the U.S. Consulate General; programs offer sports, English classes, and autonomy and leadership training to students aged 13 to 15 attending public schools in São Paulo and Bertioga. The partnership was established in 2012 and, by 2016, 250 students, the Alumni English school, the U.S. Consulate General and the Major League Baseball had taken part in the activities held at SESC Bertioga, Consolação and Itaquera. Visitors on Demand is an exchange program that aims to straighten bilateral relations between Brazilian and American businesspeople. 45 SESC São Paulo managers have taken part in the program since 2006 and eight SESC São Paulo managers participated in 2016 alone.
