One of the joint projects carried out with the Australian government is the Australia Now festival. From April to May 2016, the festival showcased cultural productions from Australia in eleven cities in nine states (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Natal, Brasília, Campinas, Florianópolis, Belém, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza and São José dos Campos), with SESC São Paulo as the main partner in Brazil. Music, dance, theatre and circus performances were presented at the Interlagos, Bom Retiro, Vila Mariana and Pompeia venues.
