Ethics in Tourism

This project’s actions are geared towards encouraging reflection on the ethical values needed for the development of a tourism with more solidarity and responsibility, as well as disseminating the tenets of the Code of Ethics for Tourism (of which, SESC became the first Brazilian signatory in 2015). Attendees include the many different actors of tourism development (academics and tourism professionals, hosting communities, information agencies and the tourists themselves), who have different responsibilities, as per the Code, but are all interconnected in the individual and social appreciation of tourism.
