Social Valorization

These initiatives are based on programs that cover a range of cultural elements and aim to integrate individuals into the workforce by valuing and disseminating work know-how.

Activities are designed after assessing local interests and/or needs and include classes, lectures and workshops that address such topics as food, fashion, design, handicrafts, theater, visual arts, music, theater, information technology, small-business management, cooperatives, etc. Content is organized on three fronts: capacity building, focusing on knowledge and hands-on practice; knowledge sharing, organizing one-on-one and group meet-ups and encouraging participants to share their experiences in the trade, as well as cultural practices and social technologies; and fostering the development of social projects, including training sessions on different forms of social organization, bringing together managers, specialists, educators and/or volunteers from social institutions.
